Why there exists price variance among the CIJ inkjet printers which perform the same function? This should be a big question for all of the CIJ inkjet printer purchaser and users. There are brands of CIJ inkjet printers with huge different prices; some are as low as ten thousand RMB, while others are as high as tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands RMB. Here in the followings, let's analyze the reasons for the price differences:

1, Source of CIJ inkjet printer:

There are three kinds of sources for CIJ inkjet printer in general:

1.1, Imported CIJ inkjet printer. The representative brands are Domino printer, Videojet, Imaje, etc. CIJ inkjet printer of this source has characteristics of stable performance, high quality, better user experience, but expensive in prices. What's more, the after service is so so;

1.2, Domestic CIJ inkjet printer. CIJ inkjet printer of this source can't supply very stable printing performance with so so quality, but the prices are cheaper, and the after service is better, which will be suitable for small and medium size manufacturer;

1.3, Imported parts, but assembling in the domestic. CIJ inkjet printer of this source combines the advantages of the above sources with characteristic of stable printing performance, acceptable prices, wonderful after-services, etc.

Now we can learn that the prices are directly proportional to the machines quality.

2, Brand effect:

It is known to all that each good's price is directly proportional to its brand recognition. Thus, all the CIJ inkjet printer manufacturers will try every effort to improve its product awareness. But please note that higher product awareness does not stands for better quality, there is no direct relationship between them;

3, Customer demands:

Same with having dinner in the restaurant "the more you eat, the bigger the figure is on the bill", while for CIJ inkjet printer, it is "the higher customer demands, the more expensive the prices are". Besides machine quality, after-service is also very important, which will possibly be a nice selling point for some suppliers. So even the machine prices are a little bit high, but with wonderful after services. Some buyers complain about the higher prices, but they forget to use transpositional consideration.

4, Price war:

As mentioned above, the competition for CIJ inkjet printer is very fierce with so many brands in the market. Some suppliers want to keep their sales performance; they will fight by raising price war to boost the sales. In this case, the price reduction will generate profit difference which would be made up by lowering the production cost; and finally in essence, the product quality is no more guaranteed. Of course, there are some quality oriented companies who want to build their brand image and refuse to lower down the production cost for sales; their prices will no doubt stay in a relatively high stage. These are the reasons for price difference caused by price war.
